»I feel as though I should like to write you a long letter. An endless letter. Pages and pages.«

The Lotte Series Pt. I–IV, A four part site-specific installation, reinterpretations of works by (immigrated from Germany) artist Lotte Laserstein (1898–1997) based on paintings and documents found in the collection and archives of Kalmar Art Museum. Informed by her artistry and relation to her long term friend Traute Rose, each part in the series uses different media, addressing issues of female representation, private identity, alienation, the muse as a phenomenon and ideas of commercialization.

The Lotte Series Pt. I–IV, commissioned by the Kalmar Art Museum, I am a Stranger Here Myself (Tomas), L to T (Vita to Virginia), Traute I (Still Life) and Traute II (Puppy).
